Real Housewives of Atlanta star, model, and wine connoisseur Cynthia Bailey, and her fiancé’, Emmy-winning journalist Mike Hill, are showing out on the cover of Mike’s new memoir, Open Mike.
The “CHill” couple revealed the racy cover featuring a shirtless Mike with a microphone cord wrapped around his body. Cynthia holds her man down on the back of the book, draped over his shoulder.
But there’s a deeper meaning to the memoir than its sensual overtone. According to Mike, he is “unveiling my truths” and “coming out of the shadows.”
“My head is slightly bowed because I’m not proud of many of the things I’ve done but I’m also coming out of the shadows, no longer running away from the traumas and pains that’s caused me to hurt others, including myself,” Mike said in a press release.
“The back is to show how far I’ve come and an expression of how thankful I have someone who has my back and along with God has me covered,” he said, adding that he is going against his “be careful what you say around an ‘Open Mic’” broadcasting rules in hopes of helping others.
Cynthia and Mike met during a dating segment on The Steve Harvey Show in early 2018. He popped the question last July at the grand opening of the Bailey Wine Cellar.
