Robert Glasper Stops Thru Dallas with Common & Marsha Ambrosius

Robert Glasper and his band have announced the dates for a co-headlining a fall tour with Common and Marsha Ambrosius, as well as his own solo tour, which begins next month.

The upcoming joint trek kicks off on October 26 in Detroit, making stops in major U.S. cities including New York City and Houston before wrapping on November 11 in Los Angeles.

In addition, fans will get to see the stand-alone Robert Glasper Experiment interspersed among the other tour dates.  That show will travel to San Francisco, Austin and the New Brunswick Jazz Festival in New Jersey.  More dates will be announced soon.

The outing will coincide with the release of Glasper’s Black Radio 2, due out October 29 on Blue Note. The disc will include the lead radio single “Calls,” featuring Jill Scott, as well as contributions from Common, Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, Brandy, Jill Scott, Dwele, Anthony Hamilton, Faith Evans, Norah Jones, Snoop Dogg, Lupe Fiasco, Luke James, Emeli Sandé, and Lalah Hathaway, among others.
