Saweetie is ready to bring the “big vibes” for her debut performance on ABC on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest tonight

The Bay Area rapper says fans will want to “two-step” to her single, “Back To The Streets” and get “super turn[t] up” when she performs “Tap In.”

“Both those songs are definitely big vibes,” she tells ABC Audio. “I’m so happy that I[‘m] able to [bring] that diversity.”

2020’s been a successful year for the 26-year-old especially after “Tap In” landed in the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart. After its release in July, the song also topped Billboard’snew Top Triller U.S. & Global Charts.

Saweetie believes it’s a major accomplishment to perform her highest-chart single since 2019’s “My Type” on a show she grew up watching as a child.

“The fact that I’m on a New Year’s celebration show is just everything to me and it makes me feel accomplished,” she adds.

Another newcomer will also be making her debut on the annual NYRE show: “Like That” rapper Doja Cat.

“I love her so much,” gushes Saweetie. “She has great energy. She’s a superstar and I love her. I hope she has a great performance.”

“Tap In” to Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, which starts tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
