ABC/Paula LoboThe season two premiere of Underground will not only feature a track from one of the show’s executive producers, John Legend, but also Beyoncé‘s Grammy-nominated single “Freedom.”
Legend also is scheduled to star in the upcoming season as 19th-century author and abolitionist leader Frederick Douglass in the historical drama about a group of slaves in Georgia who plan to escape to freedom along the Underground Railroad.
The second season of Underground premieres March 8 on WGN America.
