Courtesy Facebook WatchAfter igniting a firestorm with his comments about protecting his daughter’s virginity, T.I. received an education in parenting from Jada Pinkett Smith Monday on her Facebook Watch show, Red Table Talk.

The Atlanta rapper sparked social media outrage after he revealed that he attended his daughter Deyjah‘s annual OGBYN visits to verify she’s still a virgin.

T.I. defended himself, saying that his intentions “have been terribly misconstrued and misconceived.” He explained his comments referred to when Deyjah was 16 years old, and now that she’s 18, he no longer joins her for gynecologist visits.

T.I., who was joined by his wife, Tiny Harris, did apologize to his daughter for his comments.

The Grand Hustle Entertainment CEO explained why he was so concerned about his daughter’s sex life.

“I’m talking about all of the little slimy, grimy, chubby fingered little boys who want to just come in and defile [Deyjah],” he said.

T.I. agreed with Jada’s assessment that he was worried about Deyjah becoming sexually involved with young men who would not treat her with proper respect. He also feared that early sex for Deyjah could lead to “the danger of pregnancies, the dangers of diseases, dangers of…just having your heart broken.”

Jada explained that her husband, Will Smith, has also made insensitive comments about their daughter, Willow.

“He be saying the craziest stuff. He don’t understand the level, and thank God he has me and he’s got Willow so we educate that joker before he leaves this house,” Jada said. “Willow has gone at her dad several times for very insensitive comments.”

T.I. and Tiny will discuss their marriage in part two of their Facebook Watch show, which will air next Monday, December 2.
