Top Finalists for 2015 Billboard Music Awards Announced on Good Morning America

Dick Clark ProductionsTaylor Swift, Sam Smith, Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran are among the finalists for the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, airing live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas May 17 on ABC.

The finalists in the top categories were announced Tuesday morning on ABC’s Good Morning America by Ludacris, who’s hosting the awards show, and Pete Wentz, whose band Fall Out Boy is the first artist announced to perform on the telecast.  The band will perform their new single, “Uma Thurman,” along with Wiz Khalifa, with whom they’re touring this summer.

The rest of the finalists will be announced starting at 12 pm ET by the awards show’s co-host, Chrissy Teigen, as well as Empire’s Jussie Smollett, on Twitter at @OfficialBBMAs.
