Woman Who Cared for Bobbi Kristina Brown Arrested for Impersonating Nurse

by

Christopher Polk/WireImageA Georgia woman who was one of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s caregivers at the Georgia hospice where she died has been arrested for impersonating a nurse.

Taiwo Sobamowo was arrested in North Carolina Sunday on charges of forgery, identity fraud, and practicing nursing without a license, Atlanta’s WSB-TV reports.  She’s been held in Raleigh and could be extradited to Georgia.

Officials at Peachtree Christian Hospice, where Bobbi Kristina died last July at age 22, confirm Sobamowo was one of Brown’s nurses.  However, she allegedly stole nursing credentials from another nurse at a local hospital.  Forsyth County, GA police say she claimed to be a registered nurse and nurse practitioner with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing, none of which is true.

Police say they don’t have any information concerning what specific duties Sobamowo had concerning Bobbi Kristina’s care.
