Donated items and services

Black Tie Moving Services has offered to help homeowners by picking up salvageable items and storing them until they have a new home. 972-984-0009

Lake Pointe Church is offering assistance to those affected by the disaster. Email assistance@lakepointe.org or call 469-698-2391.

Joseph’s House is providing canned goods, toiletries, water and boxes to those in need. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day for at least through next week. The house is located at 6310 Lyons Road in Garland.

You Can Help

Blankets, women’s clothing, towels and toiletries are needed at Winters Park Assisted Living Facility, 3450 Wagon Wheel Road in Garland.

People can also help by donating to Red Cross Disaster Relief to support disasters big and small by visiting redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS or texting the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation

The Salvation Army DFW are taking donation as well, to support the disaster response efforts call 1-800-SAL-ARMY or visit salvationarmydfw.org.
