Denzel Washington’s marriage secrets.  Denzel Washington has been married to his wife, Pauletta, for 35 years!
The couple met back in 1977 on the set of the TV show Wilma and they have 4 kids together.
Despite all the time that’s gone by, these two are still happier than ever, so what’s their secret? According to Denzel, he and his wife have such a successful relationship because “I do what I’m told and I keep my mouth shut,” he said jokingly.
He went on to give his wife all of the credit, saying, “My wife has made our house a home, and raised these beautiful kids and protected them and sacrificed for them, she did the heavy lifting.”
