News surfaced on Wednesday evening (July 21) of a New Orleans Garden District mansion, reportedly belonging to Beyoncé, catching fire and now it’s being investigated as arson.
A spokesman for the New Orleans Police Department reported a “suspicious person” was in the area at the time the fire broke out.
The department says the investigation is ongoing and no further information can be released. Neither JAY-Z nor Beyoncé have commented on the incident or confirmed the mansion belongs to them.
The mansion address has been tied to Sugarcane Park since 2015 which lists the same address as Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment LLC.
