Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin was Called the N-word by a fire chief. The Steelers opted not to take the field until after the National Anthem was played. Because of that, Paul Smith, the chief of the volunteer fire department in Cecil Township, posted on Facebook that Coach Tomlin “just added himself to the list of no-good n******” by partaking in a show of solidarity with his team. The blow back had him back tracking. “I am embarrassed at this,” Smith said. Read more of his apology here.
