Actors Michael B. Jordan and Kendrick Sampson are among a number of celebrities who have joined nationwide marches in demand of reforms in policing, presidential politics, and yes, even in Hollywood.They joined activists in leading a #BlackLivesMatter in LA and Beverly Hills Saturday.
“Insecure” star Sampson lead chants like “F**k Donald Trump” and “Black lives they matter here. In front to the Beverly Hills Police Department, he called of defund the departments of upscale neighborhoods and redirected them to minority communities. He also talked up the need to get President Trump out of office.
Michael B. Jordan, reading from his cell phone, spoke of issues like Black hiring and Black content in Hollywood.
