Usher is making progress with his eighth stdio album, tentatively titled UR.

The singer hit the studio with producer Jermaine Dupri to work on the upcoming project during a late night session is Atlanta, Georgia.

Durpri posted an Instagram picture of Usher singing inside a recording studio, along with a caption that reads: “6 am @howuseeit in the booth #JUSTKNOW#VSCOcam.” JD also snapped a shot of the singer brainstorming with producer Bryan Michael Cox, who has contributed to some of Usher’s biggest hits, including “Confessions” and “U Got It Bad.”

While Usher has yet to announce the release date for his set, which was initially slated to arrive last year, his buzz single “I Don’t Mind” featuring Juicy J is climbing up Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart; it currently sits at #23.

The crooner is scheduled to begin the European leg of his UR Experience Tour on February 13 in France and wraps up March 26 in London, England.
