Kanye West hosted his “Donda 2 Experience Performance” Tuesday night in Miami featuring special guests Alicia Keys, DaBaby, Pusha-T, Playboi Carti, Migos, Jack Harlow, The Game and Marilyn Manson.

The event at the LoanDepot Park was live-streamed online and in IMAX theaters. The two-and-a-half-hour show opened with a scene from Kanye’s Donda listening event last year in Chicago: a burning building that was a recreation of West’s childhood home in The Windy City. As flames and smoke billowed out from its windows, Ye emerged from the building and onto the stage to perform “True Love,” a song about being separated from his children.

On “Security,” Yeezy attacked Pete Davidson, the new boyfriend of his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian. Another song from the album, “Sci-Fi,” samples Kim’s Saturday Night Live monologue during which she said, “I married the best rapper of all time/Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America.”

The second half of the event was plagued by audio problems. While performing “Jail Pt. 2” with DaBaby and Manson, West became so angry with the poor sound, he threw away his microphone in frustration. He spent the remainder of the show without a mic.

Donda 2 was scheduled to drop Tuesday, but like the original Donda album, the release has been delayed, and a new release date has not yet been announced.
