After unveiling the artwork for her oft-delayed album, BraveHeart, Ashanti and Rick Ross have shot the video for her latest single “I Got It,” which was filmed at The Bank Lounge in downtown Miami on Thursday.
“Ashanti lookin like $$.. Video coming soon,” tweeted Rozay before adding a still shot of their upcoming video. In the photo, Ross exposes his belly beneath a gold shirt while Ashanti rocks thigh-high black boots, a corset dress and a new, short hairdo.
There’s no release date set for the video, which includes cameos from DJ Khaled and the song’s producer, L.T. Hutton.
“I Got It” serves as the newest offering from Ashanti’s upcoming set, BraveHeart, which features production from Jerry Wonda, Detail, and Sak Pase. The follow-up to 2008’s The Declaration is now expected to arrive on February 18 via Ashanti’s new label, Written Entertainment.
