This week MTV held a 24-hour Beyonce-thon dance event at its headquarters in New York City in a successful effort to set a Guinness World Record for “Longest Dance Relay Marathon,” a new category for Guinness World Records. Looks like Beyonce herself was impressed.
On Wednesday the Queen Bey acknowledged the network’s feat. “Congratulations MTV for setting the Guinness World Record!” she wrote on her Facebook page, posting a video clip of dance party host Todrick Hall receiving a special award.
Beyonce actually holds several Guinness World Records of her own, including the fastest-selling album ever on iTunes with her self-titled album as well as raking up the most tweets per second after she announced her pregnancy during the 2011 MTV VMA Awards.
