DALLAS RESIDENTS FACING EVICTION DUE TO COVID-19

You’re not alone; many Dallas residents are facing eviction or foreclosure on their homes in the wake of COVID-19. Though don’t worry, the City of Dallas is now launching a program to help people facing eviction. This program will have people signing up via phone call, and then you will be required to show proof of eviction or foreclosure. This program will be able to pay your rent, mortgages, and even utilities with a maximum monthly assistance of $1,500 for 3-24 months. All money will be paid directly to the landlord, lenders or utility companies. Expect a high number of calls; this program will be a first come first serve.
