Image Courtesy Prolific Music GroupFaith Evans has released her sixth studio album, Incomparable, which debuted at number 17 on Billboard‘s Independent Albums chart. The singer says that her biggest concern in making this project was delivering quality songs.

“I wouldn’t even say I had any pressure, but if there was anything that I felt I needed to live up to it was to make sure that I continue to make good R&B music, and not really base it on what is current,” she tells ABC News Radio.

She continues, “I totally love and respect and enjoy a whole lot of artists that came out in the generation after me, but at the same time I don’t think that really affects what I do.”

Incomparable is available now. The set features collaborations with Missy Elliot, KeKe Wyatt and Karen Clark-Sheard.
