Michael Bezjian/WireImageDestiny’s Child singer Farrah Franklin is behind bars after being arrested Thursday morning for public intoxication and possession of marijuana.
A spokesperson for the DeKalb County, GA, Sheriff’s Office confirms to ABC News that Farrah was arrested and booked early this morning for public drunkenness and possessing under an ounce of marijuana. The singer is still in custody pending bail of $299.
According to TMZ, officers called to the scene Thursday report Farrah got into an argument with a male companion around 3:00 a.m. outside a gym in DeKalb County, Georgia. When officers asked her to leave the location, Farrah reportedly refused, adding, “These n***** won’t leave me alone.”
Upon allegedly noticing signs of drunkenness, including slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, cops asked the former Destiny’s Child singer how much she’d been drinking, to which Farrah was said to respond, “Not enough.”
