HURRICANE LAURA IS NOW A TROPICAL STORM

Hurricane Laura has now fallen below hurricane strength and is a 70 mph tropical storm, updates from the National Hurricane Center.

Overnight the hurricane rapidly became a category 4, at 150 mph storm. Though sources are now saying Laura has just turned into a tropical storm, the eye of the hurricane remains over northern Louisiana and will come through Arkansas today as it weakens. Louisiana and Texas are still the most hit areas with over 700,000 customers currently without power.
