Fabien MontiqueKacy Hill‘s sumptuous music video for her single “Hard to Love” is out now and shows the track’s lyrics painted on various parts of the singer-songwriter’s body.
The Phoenix native, who’s signed to Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. record label, teamed up once again with video directing duo J.A.C.K. to bring the “Hard to Love” visual into existence.
The rising star tells ABC Radio that she’s inspired by “a lot of everything” when it comes to creating her cinematic music videos.
“It’s a lot of everything, honestly. I can’t pinpoint any musical or like visual specific inspiration. I think it’s just when it feels right, it’s right,” she says.
She adds, “I think I just draw from lots of different places and it’s this kind of collective effort of different artists and just seeing things in life and, you know, being inspired by experiences.”
“Hard to Love” comes from Kacy’s debut album, Like a Woman, arriving everywhere June 30.
