Jhené Aiko has a gangster side. The singer released an alternate version of her Sail Out track “Stay Ready (What a Life),” which features the singer showing off her rapping skills.
The singer introduces her fans to her alter ego J Henny, who replaces Kendrick Lamar‘s verse on the original track.
She recently revealed more detail about her sassy persona. “She still sings, but she’s more aggressive,” Aiko explained during an interview with Rap-Up. “She likes to really talk a lot of sh** and talk about things that a lot of R&B singers don’t talk about.”
