ABC RadioJohn Legend is more than excited about the upcoming arrival of his baby girl with Chrissy Teigen. And he’s leaning on his celebrity pal, Kanye West, for advice.
In an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Legend reveals that West and his wife Kim Kardashian offered great nuggets during a recent shopping trip for the newborn. “It was really about Kim and Chrissy. Kim was going through the store showing Chrissy all the things she would need and how she uses them,” John says.
Speaking of his relationship with his wife, John is impressed by how the couple has evolved. “We’ve grown together. I was a little more famous than her at the beginning, but we support and complement each other well,” he says.
After adding that he is “very happy” and that “life is good,” John reveals he can’t wait to become a dad: “I’m as ready as I can be.”
The couple has yet to reveal the baby’s due date.
