Kanye West and Nicki Minaj may be revisiting their lyrical chemistry for Ye’s impending album, Yandhi.
During the most recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kanye shared a few behind-the-scenes moments from a family studio session. In the clip, West ponders the idea of having Minaj hop on a track tentatively titled “New Body.”
After receiving his producer’s co-sign, wife Kim Kardashian volunteers to dial up the Queens-bred rapper and ask for her assistance in bringing the record to life. Not to long after, Yeezy and the Head Barb are on FaceTime to discuss the single.
“I’m gonna say some real a** s*** that b***** need to hear too,” Minaj tells West.
Kardashian further confirmed the collab during the episode, and provided a bit of insight on the finished product via Twitter.
“Nicki really is the goat!,” the reality star tweeted. “We FaceTimed her and within an hour she had written the song and it’s soooo [fire].”
Minaj and Ye previously traded verses on the 2010 hit, “Monster,” with the former notoriously stealing the show with her charismatic wordplay.
