Destiny’s Child surprised everyone this past weekend when they reunited during a taping of the 2015 Stellar Awards, which aired on Easter Sunday. Now, Michelle Williams has given us a behind-the-scenes look at the preparations for the event in which she gets emotional after sharing the stage with Beyonce and Kelly Rowland.
In the clip, posted on YouTube, Michelle has a moment following their “Say Yes” showcase. “I already miss the girls already,” a tearful Michelle says. “I miss them, but I thank God, because I haven’t had a moment to really sit and reflect on all the good things.”
“I was thankful for the process, but I wasn’t enjoying the process, because wasn’t giving myself the chance to enjoy the process and be thankful for every level of the journey,” she says. “Artists can get in the habit of focusing on their itinerary that you forget to be like, ‘Man, I just did the Stellars, I have my sisters, I won an award, or I just did this’ because gotta chase this gig…but I just had a moment, like ‘Wow, we did that.'”
The clip comes on the heels of speculation about the girls reuniting for a tour to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
