“Juicy J is a friend, I met him through Dr Luke, who actually produced the record. It just made sense,” Ne-Yo said. “The song just felt like something that needed a little bit more edge than I could give it and Juicy J just fit the bill.”

So what can fans expect of his next effort? “Quality music, of course you know. I try not to do the crappy stuff,” the singer said. “Definitely more R&B than my previous albums, but definitely some stuff on there for my dance and EDM fans as well.

He continues, “I’m just trying to keep the music good, you know. Be looking for it towards the top of the year, top of 2015.”

The upcoming set, which serves as the follow-up to 2012′s R.E.D, will include contributions from T.I., Trey Songz and Jeezy, who is featured on “Money Can’t Buy.”
