Prince has announced plans to embark on a solo acoustic European tour, officially dubbed the Piano and a Microphone Tour.
The Guardian reports Prince is scheduled to kick off her trek in Vienna on November 21. The legendary singer will play four shows, including a planned appearance at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London. The full list of dates has yet to be announced.
During a press conference in Minneapolis this past weekend, the singer explained he’s hitting the road without a band because he “rarely gets bad reviews.” Fans can expect a guitar-free show that will feel “more naked, more pure.”
It won’t be the first time Prince has planned an unexpected outing — the singer recently finished his Hit and Run tour, where he played small venues without advanced promotion in early 2014.
