Thaddaeus McAdams/FilmMagicFormer Real Housewives of Atlanta star Apollo Nida is back in prison — just a few days after being released.

“He was taken back into custody. I wouldn’t say it was an arrest because it’s not a new charge. It was an order of the court to bring him into custody,” a spokesperson for the U.S. Marshals Service tells Page Six.  The spokesperson explained that Nida violated a condition of his release, but didn’t reveal any more details.

“We took him to Federal Bureau of Prisons and they will deal with it since he was in their custody,” the spokesperson added.

Phaedra Parks‘ ex-husband was released from Fort Dix Correctional Facility in New Jersey on June 5 after serving five years behind bars for conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud. He was transferred to a halfway house, where he had been set to serve out the remainder of this sentence, scheduled to end October 15, 2019.

The former reality star and Parks divorced in 2017. He became engaged to Sherien Almufti while in prison.
