Tinashe fans have been hounding the singer to release another album after 2019’s critically-acclaimed Songs for You.
On Tuesday, the 28-year-old shared a teaser clip of herself on Instagram and Twitter reading the long-defunct The Pasadena Post newspaper, which features her on the front page with the headline, “Tinashe teases new music.”
Tinashe looks completely unbothered wearing a bath robe and red lipstick, while seated by the pool sipping a glass of organic alcohol from Crook and Marker.
“Summers coming round the corner, and now I’m feeling like I don’t even know ya…” Tinashe wrote in the caption.
Fans in the comments shared dozens of heart and fire emojis, including some who said, “Girl spill the tea.”
“OMG I can’t wait,” wrote one fan, while another said, “Yes…she’s coming.”
After postponing her tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tinashe kept herself busy last year shooting music videos for songs like “Rascal (Superstar)” and appearing on Kaytranada‘s “The Worst in Me.” Most recently, she linked up with electronic pop group Cheat Codes for “Lean On Me.”
Up next, Tinashe is set to perform for ABC’s Good Morning America Summer Concert series in August.
