Toni Braxton has landed another acting role. The singer’s been tapped to star in My Name Is Love: The Darlene Love Story, which will premiere on Oprah Winfrey‘s OWN. It’s the network’s first scripted feature.

Love has collaborated with dozens of music legends during her long career, including Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and Bruce Springsteen.
Toni’s acting credits includes 2001’s Kingdom Come and 2013’s Twist of Faith, as well as a lead role in Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast. She’s currently starring on Broadway in the musical revue After Midnight.
