ABC/ Jeff NeiraTyrese really wants Baby Boy 2 to happen.
After the actor-singer alerted fans on Instagram that a Baby Boy sequel was in the works, Tyrese is now teasing more details of the forthcoming film, called Baby Boy: Coming of Age.
In a now-deleted picture captured by The YBF, we see Taraji P. Henson and her Baby Boy co-star Tamara Bass in a pool with a friend, while Tyrese reveals some of the sequel’s plot line in his photo caption.
“When Jodys baby mamas finally become friends and start plotting on a n****, he writes. “Photo taken by @JohnSingleton #Baby Boy2ComingOfAge Is real….. The worst s*** is when your BM’s get up and start plotting on a n**** #MemorialDayBulls***”
The two actresses had played Tyrese’s character’s baby mothers: Yvette, played by Henson, and Peanut, played by Bass. The photos were reportedly taken at John Singleton‘s Memorial Day party, but the cast has all remained tight-lipped on details surrounding the film.
Baby Boy, produced and directed by Singleton, followed Tyrese as Joseph “Jody” Summers, a unemployed bike mechanic who must navigate through everyday life in the ‘hood in L.A.
