Usher, Johnny Gill, Gamble & Huff to participate in 2017 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony

Courtesy of Songwriters Hall of FameUsher, Johnny Gill and legendary songwriting-production team Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff, plus producer Benny Blanco, jazz artist Cassandra Wilson and Whoopi Goldberg are among the celebrities confirmed to perform and/or present at the 48th annual Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Dinner.  

The ceremony will take place Thursday, June 15, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

Among the other notable people who will either perform or present awards at the gala are Jon Bon Jovi, singer-actress Kelli O’Hara, music mogul Irving AzoffTrain frontman Pat Monahan and actor John Leguizamo.

This year’s Songwriters Hall of Fame inductees include Motown founder Berry GordyKenneth “Babyface” EdmondsJimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and Jay Z.

Pitbull will also be honored with the Global Ambassador Award.
