We were all shocked to hear celebrity chef, Anthony Bourdain has died. After all he is the second celebrity death this week that has left most wondering why? Even if you didn’t watch his show; you can most likely recall seeing his face on CNN’s ‘Parts Unknown’ from time-to-time. It is truly a shame to loose such a talented human being that shared his love for culinary delights from across the globe. Here are some things you may not have known about the globe-trotting chef:
- Bourdain started his education at Vassar College but dropped out after two years, he finished at Culinary Institute of America. Although he recovered, he struggled with cocaine and heroin.
- Bourdain was a father of a daughter, Ariane, 11. He also was very much in love with actress Asia Argento who he started dating in 2017.
- Although Bourdain steered clear of airport food but knew how to find the best food in any city by posting on food discussion boards and making up a place where he ate and people would be eager to offer a better alternative.
