North Texas Couple Guilty Of Forced Labor

by

A Southlake couple was found guilty of forced labor for keeping a young, undocumented girl as a “slave” for 16 years.  Mohamed Toure and Denise Cros-Toure brought the girl from her village in Guinea in 2000. They required her to cook, clean do laundry, paint, do yard work and take care of five children with no pay.  She was not allowed to attend school. They had her in hiding and even l et her documents expire so she couldn’t flee.  In 2016 the young girls escaped triggering an investigation.

The Toure’s could spend decades in jail, as they should.
