R. Kelly Back In Court Today In Chicago For Child Support Hearing


Robert Kelly (R. Kelly) returned to court on Wednesday. His attorneys were hoping to lower the monthly child support payments to his ex-wife, Drea. Kelly is supposed to be paying over $20,000 a month.  After the hearing, Kelly’s lawyer said no changes in the payment amounts were made. They were hoping for a new court date to discuss the matter further. Kelly was arrested and put in jail for back child support last week. He owed over $161,000 in payments. Kelly was released when the money was paid. The singer, producer said he is unable to meet the monthly payments due to the fact that is is not making any money at the present time. He is still dealing with the 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse in another well-publicized case.  R. Kelly will be back in court to address his child support on May 8th.
