Oscar -Winning movie producer and director Spike is is celebrating his 62th birthday today. So far 2019 has been a great year for Spike Lee winning his first Oscar Best Adapted Screenplay for BlacKkKlansman. The film also received Oscar nominations for Best Picture, Best Original Score, and Best Editing. Spike launched his career in 1986 with “She’s Gotta Have It,” which recently has been added as a Netflix series. In 1989, he released “Do the Right Thing,”which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. Tonight we celebrate the 30 year journey of Shelton Jackson “Spike” Lee and his beautiful wife attorney Tonya Lewis.
