They are one of the music’s most powerful couples never mind how cute they are together. It wasn’t love at first sight. In fact, the Grammy winner wasn’t always a fan of her now husband. She thought he was annoying and a bit over-the-top, it wasn’t and fairy tale beginning. Then there were the rumors and the relationship scandal that swirled around their early days of their love. Fast forward to 2019 Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz (Kaseem Dean) are celebrating 9 years of marriage. They actually met as teenagers, he tried to get her to work with him but she resisted because she just didn’t like him .
In 2008 Swizz Beatz was married to singer Mashonda Tifrere the mother of his first child when Keys was rumored to be spending time the with the producer. The rest of that story is well-speculated.
They married in 2010 in France and Alicia was carrying their first child. They share two children Egypt and Genesis and spend lots of time with Prince Nasir (Swizz’s son with Mashonda).
This week they celebrate nearly a decade together and they are great friends with his ex. They even vacation together. Happy Anniversary Alicia and Swizz!
