It is the first freeze of the season and it’s coming several weeks early. In fact this is the earliest freeze since 1993. Normally the first freeze is around November 22nd. There is a freeze warning for most of North Texas Wednesday and Thursday night. Temperatures are expected to drop into the lower 30’s with the wind-chill in the 20’s. Don’t be caught off guard you will need to turn off your sprinkler system, cover plant and be sure to bring your pets in. Protect your pipes by covering them up if necessary. Thursday’s high temp is 52 and Trick-or-Treat will be cold but no rain is expected. Your little goblins’ will need to bundle up!
