Kaep Works Out for Eight Teams, “Has Nothing to Hide”

by

ESPN says that while the sudden change of Kaepernick’s workout venue interrupted the schedules of many of the 25 teams that showed up to watch the free agent work out, eight team reps were reportedly there to check out the former QB’s public workout. Watching his workout included reps for the Eagles, Bills, Chiefs, Jets, Redskins, Lions, Titans and Kaepernick’s former team the 49ers, according to his agent Jim Nalley.   Kaep showed off his arm, completing 53 out of 60 scripted throws with the help of former NFL receivers Brice Butler, Jordan Veasy, Ari Wertz and Bruce Ellington.  A long supporter of Kaepernick, Panthers safety Eric Reid was there to support his friend before leaving early to prep for his team’s game against Atlanta. Kaepernick changed the venue of his workout from the Atlanta Falcons facility in Flowery Branch to 60 miles away at Charles R. Drew High School in Riverdale.  A disagreement between the two camps over the QB’s liability waiver and media access were two big reasons Kaep wanted the change.  Kaepernick said “We have nothing to hide.  We’re waiting for 32 teams, 32 owners, Roger Goodell…stop running from the truth…and the people. Do you think he’ll get signed to the NFL, if so, how soon?
