Assistant Coach Jennifer King To Make NFL History

by

When the Washington Redskins hire former Carolina Panthers intern Jennifer King she’ll make history as the NFL’s first African-American female assistant coach.  Her reunion with former Panthers/now Redskins coach Ron Rivera will also make her the fourth woman with a full-time NFL assistant job, according to The Athletic. King knows football: she won three championships in the semi-pro Women’s Football Alliance and worked as a Alliance of American Football assistant wide receivers coach for the Arizona Hotshots.  She also spent time on the field as Dartmouth College’s offensive assistant. Congratulations Coach King!
