I have just learned that Biz Markie has been in the hospital for weeks for an illness that is not the coronavirus. This is according to his reps who also say, he is receiving the best care from an amazing team of medical professionals and we remain positive about his outcome. Biz is in a hospital in Maryland. The rep did add that what triggered the hospital stay was his Type II Diabetes. In 2014 Biz lost 104 lbs in an effort to get his diabetes under control.
