Facebook and Ray-Ban have announced their new smart glasses that are coming out for $299. These glasses will allow users to take pictures, record videos, listen to music, and take calls. Zuckerberg said, “You can kind of think about this as an embodied Internet that you’re inside of rather than just looking at. We believe that this is going to be the successor to the mobile Internet. The defining quality of the metaverse is presence, which is this feeling that you’re really there with another person or in another place.” The smart glasses from Facebook and Ray-Ban are currently available for purchase.
