Dave Chappelle’s stand-up routine didn’t make the cut for the ‘Netflix Is A Joke’ festival special coming to the streaming platform. Netflix announced today that Dave’s set at the festival won’t be seen alongside the other footage from the festival. Dave performed four shows at the Hollywood Bowl, but the one routine that made headlines was when an armed attacker jumped on stage during his final performance and was subsequently “handled” by security. The attack isn’t the reason that footage from Chappelle’s performance won’t be a part of the special. It was agreed earlier that Chappelle’s performances wouldn’t be shared. Footage from other performers will be released in the coming weeks.
