Hong) Shonda Rhimes Will Receive BAFTA Special Award In New York Shonda Rhimes will be receiving the BAFTA Special Award next month because of her impact in Hollywood. The BAFTA Board Chair said, “Shonda’s trailblazing work has captured our hearts and inspired audiences around the world. We are honored to be presenting a BAFTA mask to such a deeply respected and admired artist.” Shonda is the first woman to hit 100 episodes on three different shows, which is an incredible feat.
