Actor-Activist Hill Harper Running For US Senate In Michigan

Actor Hill Harper  is leaving Hollywood for Washington D.C. The former CSI: NY star announced Monday that he’s running for U.S. Senate in Michigan. Harper is one of six Democrats vying for the seat held by Sen. Debbie Stabenow, who will not seek re-election in 2024. Harper is best known for portraying Dr. Sheldon Hawkes on CSI: NY and Dr. Marcus Andrews on The Good Doctor.  He lives in Detroit, where he also owns a coffee shop. Hill Harper is a cancer survivor and was appointed by President Barrack Obama to his administration’s cancer panel in 2012 and has been a long-time activist for the people.
