10 Weird Texas Laws

(AP Photo/Eric Gay) Everything is bigger in Texas, but some stuff is just weirder.  Especially when it comes to some of the stranger laws the state has.  One weird law is that wire cutters cannot be carried in your pocket.  Also, in Galveston sitting on a sidewalk can get you arrested. Violations are considered a class C misdemeanor, punishable with a fine of up to $500. Other illegal offenses include sniffing glue, buying or selling human organs, eating your neighbor’s garbage, walking barefoot without a permit, and shooting a buffalo from a balcony.
