One weird law is that wire cutters cannot be carried in your pocket. Also, in Galveston sitting on a sidewalk can get you arrested. Violations are considered a class C misdemeanor, punishable with a fine of up to $500. Other illegal offenses include sniffing glue, buying or selling human organs, eating your neighbor’s garbage, walking barefoot without a permit, and shooting a buffalo from a balcony.
