The podcast will examine how that year contributed to the spread of hip-hop’s popularity. Will will speak to many prominent hip hop legends such as: Queen Latifah, Salt-N-Pepa, DMC, Rakim, and more. Many musicians and creatives were born in 1988 and have still a huge impact on music, fashion, and Hollywood today. He said about the new series, “Hip-hop has been a central part of my life for over four decades. I’m hyped to share my first-hand experiences and those of some of hip-hop’s greatest legends as we delve into the origins of one of the most influential genres of music in history.” The new series will be released in full on October 26th.
