Michael Jackson’s Black Fedora Sold At Auction

by

It was an epic  moment in music history.  Just before performing his famous moonwalk dance for the first time, while breaking into his hit “Billie Jean” Michael Jackson tossed his hat to the side of the stage, and 40 years later, it just sold for auction in Paris. The auction occurred at the Hotel Drouot in Paris and sold for $82,170. The black fedora was just one of around 200 items of rock memorabilia for sale, including a guitar owned by the legendary bluesman T-Bone Walker, a suit worn by Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore, and one of Madonna’s gold records.
