by

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards were a ratings success.  According to Nielsen, the event pulled in 16.9 million viewers, a 34% improvement from last year.  The numbers were good for Paramount+, too. The streaming service received its highest Grammy viewership ever, with streams up 173%.  In case you’re curious, the most-watched quarter-hour started at 9:45 p.m.  Trevor Noah did an excellent job as host of music’s biggest night. Stevie Wonder, Tracy Chapman, SZA along with Fantasia’s tribute to Tina Turner was a crowd pleaser. It was overall a great production.
