114-Year-Old Texan is oldest living American Elizabeth Francis of Houston, Texas, has become the oldest living American. At 114 years old, Francis takes over the title after Edie Ceccarelli died at 116 last Thursday. According to HuffPost, Francis has “lived through two World Wars, the moon landing, JFK assassination and COVID-19 pandemic.” Francis contributes her long life to God, staying close to family, not smoking or drinking, and eating healthily.
